Nietzke & Faupel, PC Team Members

Allan Nietzke, CPA, Consultant
Allan Nietzke joined Leppien & Company in 1969. In 1979 Nietzke first appeared in our firm's name and in 1992 this accounting firm reorganized as Nietzke & Faupel, PC.  He served as the firm's managing partner until 2001.  Allan attended Northeastern School of Commerce, and achieved his CPA designation in 1969.  Allan divides his time between our Pigeon and Sebewaing offices. Specializing in tax and estate issues, Allan serves as the tax resource and research person for our other professional team members.  He does a great job keeping everyone up to date on the constantly changing tax laws.

Al has been very active in the accounting profession at the local, state and national level. His achievements include serving as past president of the Michigan Association of CPAs. Al is currently a member of the Northeastern Michigan Estate Planning Council. He is also very active in civic affairs. He was a member of the Jaycees, where he served as chapter president twice and was awarded a JCI Senatorship. He is a member of the Sebewaing Rotary Club, where he served as president twice and also received the Paul Harris Fellow award. Over the years he has: served as treasurer of the Scheurer Hospital Building Fund; served on the Sebewaing Medical Clinic board; served on the board of directors of the Sebewaing Chamber of Commerce; served on the Sebewaing Village Council. Al also works with the Sebewaing Harbor Commission. He is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing, where he has served as treasurer, vice-chairman and chairman of the congregation in addition to being an usher for over twenty years.

In his spare time Al enjoys reading and golfing, and hunting.  And after many, many years of hunting for deer, he finally brought a buck home. He also enjoys spending time with his  grandchildren.
