Our entire team is committed to a common mission.  That is to equip you with the knowledge you need to build and operate a successful business. In fact, that's been our underlying focus since this practice was first formed in 1957.

At that time, we identified a need for accounting services in the region and we set about creating a practice that could successfully support clients' needs for income tax planning and preparation, as well as bookkeeping, auditing, and management services. Since then our practice has successfully helped thousands of clients, many facing challenges that might be similar to your own.

Helping our business clients.   We are keenly aware of how businesses grapple with issues as they work to improve and expand their businesses. Many struggle with common issues such as managing employees, marketing, lack of processes and systems, or simply trying to do too many different things.

We listened to our clients and learned from them how we could help, while at the same time provide the traditional accounting services. We also attended business development courses, invested in new resources, tools, and specialized software. Then we applied these methods to our own firm. The results were dramatic.  Now we love talking with clients about their businesses, instead of just reporting what has happened in the past. 

One important lesson we learned is that there is no quick fix.  True results come with work over months and even years. It comes with hard work and even a little pain.  We intentionally chose to be very honest about the hard work of moving a business to the next level.  But the outcomes are worth it, and the journey can be fun and exciting, when you have someone guiding you.

Of course we maintain our core competencies.  Accounting, Tax, and Audit are still the three key components of our services. In fact, we also took them a step further by requiring ongoing professional education or all our accountants.
